- Job Description:
- This position is heavily Financial Planning oriented with a focus on enrolling businesses and their employees into our Corporate Sponsored Employee Financial Wellness Program.
- As an Investment Advisor Representative, your role would be 10% managing existing client relationships, 10% firm management/strategy and 80% acquiring and onboarding new client relationships.
- Required Skills:
- Proficiency and fluency in use of MoneyGuidePro software for Financial Planning.
- Relationship building skills:
- Active Listening: You must be able to listen to and understand your client’s financial goals.
- Critical Thinking: To figure out how to help your clients meet their goals, you need to evaluate all the data available.
- Reading Comprehension: It is necessary to understand documents that describe various financial instruments and situations.
- Verbal Communications: You must be able to clearly explain the financial services you can provide to potential clients.
- Service Orientation: A desire to help people plan for their future.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Well organized with the ability to manage time effectively while managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to positively influence people.
- Must possess a commitment to professionalism, honesty and a strong work ethic.
- Has demonstrated the ability to ask for the appointment, qualify for the opportunity and close business within 2 to 3 calls.
- Strong knowledge of investment products and services as well as the regulations associated with these products and services.
- Strong, motivated worker who thrives both in a team and independently.
- Proficient computer skills and strong ability to adopt new computer technologies to enhance efficiency.
